Florizoone Tuur

Studied piano and jazz composition at the Conservatoire de Bruxelles with Pirly Zurstrassen and Kris Defoort. Self-taught on accordion (which he learned on a long trip to Brazil), he founded the group TRICYCLE, with whom he recorded 2 CDs and travelled around the world (Canada, Brazil, China, Romania...). He currently plays and prepares new cd's with tuba player Michel Massot, guitarist Quentin Dujardin, the group Gadu Gadu (Germany) and is preparing his first solo cd. He has also recorded three albums on John Zorn's "Tzadic" label. He composed the music for the film "Aanrijding in Moscou", for which he received the "Public's choice Award" at the World Soundtrack Award in 2008. With Tricycle and Mixtuur, he was nominated for "best band of the year" at the Octaves de la musique in 2012.
