This course is a tribute to my teacher Maria Knebel who was Stanislavski's last assistant and a student of Michael Chekhov. It was she who transmitted to me the knowledge received from her teachers. As a result, this workshop combines main elements that come from two methods founding the Russian theater school.
The course is aimed at future students of theater schools, as well as professional and amateur actors. It will be useful for anyone who wants to feel free and happy during rehearsals and during performances.
Every day we will work on one of the six basic elements of the Russian school such as freedom, imagination, action, event, given circumstances and conflicts. We will experience how they contribute to our true existence on set, to the development of our personal and professional abilities and skills.
The method presented is developed by Boris Rabey and is based on more than 30 years of experience.
