Julien De Borman

Julien DE BORMAN has been spreading his musical know-how and caustic wit on stages large and small for over 20 years: back rooms of bistros, cultural centers, festivals and summer courses, with a head full to the brim of music that is both easy on the ears and gives tingling sensations.

A crazy, non-conformist, travelling accordionist, Julien composes and plays the aerial music of Flygmaskin, the cries of Munsch, the festive folk of Turdus Philomelos, the Belgian-Brazilian forrò of Anavantou!, the crazy swing of Les Tartines, the forrò trio Tupatch Kupa... He composes for theater, circus and cinema (Cie Les pieds dans le vent, Cie Ceux qui marchent, Cirque Barbette, ...). He has performed, among others, with Klezmic Zirkus, Bérézina Social Club, Les déménageurs, Ialma, HK & les saltimbanks, Les Fanfoireux...

He is also a diatonic accordion teacher.
