Tinah Drevet

Trained at the conservatory in my young years, I have travelled through a variety of musical styles, stopping at gospel music some twenty years ago. After years of working for others as a chorister, singer and choir director, I decided to set up my own Expression Chorale school and devote myself primarily to teaching. Expression Chorale is a place where singers can receive musical training using techniques developed by and for choral singing. From beginners to the most advanced, Expression Chorale is for those with a real motivation to progress. Those who want to consider choral singing as a real artistic discipline, which can be more than just entertainment - it can be a real personal journey. After all these years of directing choirs, vocal coaching and teambuilding, I've come to realize that choral singing requires musical training. Each individual must be at the service of the collective. To feel free within the collective, you need to master tools such as vocal technique, choreorhythmics (movement and rhythm) and ear training (for polyphony).
