Liévine Hubert

Liévine Hubert (www.legestequisauve.be) is a multi-disciplinary artist: musician, performer, philosopher. Vocal polyphony is a common thread in her work, especially when it is anchored in the body - associated with dance, theater and other somatic practices. With her company Le Geste qui Sauve, she creates shows in which gesture plays a central role. The notion of group and participation also runs through Liévine's work - most often, her projects are participatory, or take the form of experimental workshops around voice and body.
