Sere Boukson

Introduced at an early age to mask dancing and traditional wrestling, he took a brief interest in boxing, before returning to his first passion: dance. He trained in African dance at the Institut National de Formation des Arts et de la Culture (INAFAC) in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

Boukson received solid training in contemporary dance in his native country with choreographers Salia Sanou, Seydou Boro, Ousseni Sako and Souleymane Badolo (Burkina Faso).

Then he met, among others, Mathilde Monnier, Angelin Préljocaj, Khriztina de Châtel (Netherlands), Caroline Carlson and Bernardo Montet during professional training courses, including the “Dialogues de corps” Choreographic Meetings in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

Between 2005 and 2007, he twice took part in the prestigious professional training in traditional and contemporary African dance at the "Ecole des Sables" in Senegal, directed by the dean Germaine Acogny.
