Maria-Helena Amorim Schoeps

Her training, which extends from Brazil to Belgium, includes artistic education (performing arts), piano, singing and music pedagogy.

For Musique Espérance Belgique's ENVOL project, she has been an artist-in-residence at École St-Pierre in Anderlecht since 2006. She collaborated on the CHŒUR AU FÉMININ project, designed to help women learn French at the Maison de Quartier La ROSÉE between 2011 and 2021.

From 2011 to 2021 she led the “Latin-French Polyphonies” course at the AKDT with Jo Lesco and then with Fanette.

Since 2021 she has been giving introductory choral singing courses in elementary school organized by the PROMOZART non-profit organization..

Passionate about polyphony, Maria Helena Schoeps founded the KUBICA choir in 2003, and since the same year has directed the ANACONDA choir, which regularly performs in aid of humanitarian projects.
