Sarah Joveneau

Laura Aubrée and Sarah Joveneau are two young photographers, from France and Namur, who graduated in 2014 from the Saint-Luc Liège art school.

Her world can be defined by constant experimentation, which she describes as exploration and which sometimes gives way to happy accidents. In a world where images evolve en masse, becoming increasingly immaterial and ephemeral, she aspires to the creation of palpable objects that move and awaken the senses.

Sarah uses photography as a pretext and a tool to reach out to others. Her various works, produced in immersion in often minority and marginalized socio-cultural contexts, speak of humanity: it's a calling for her, an obvious fact. Upon graduating from Saint-Luc, she opened up her artistic approach to a new medium for telling stories: documentary film.
