Rosy Le Bars

Rosy Le Bars is a visual artist and a graduate of the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Nantes (DNSEP 2004). She lives in Lille. She also teaches at art schools and works in various settings (day-care centers, museums, centers for the mentally handicapped, high schools, etc.).

Involved in a sculptural practice, textiles form the framework of her work, from which she explores the body, its envelope and intimacy. She creates forms that call out to the body. She regularly invites dancers to activate some of her sculptures in performance.
