Sarah Pestana

Sarah Pestana is a multi-faceted dancer and actress.

Full of energy and with a great thirst for discovery, her journey lives up to her personality. From a young age, she began taking dance and theater lessons. These two disciplines soon became her passion.

At the age of 18, she decided to explore these worlds and find a way to express herself in both dance and theater. She followed intensive training in physical and gestural theater, while continuing at the same time her training as a dancer.

For over 20 years, she trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop and raga, as well as dance theater, cabaret, mime drama and, of course, swing dance.

In 2014, she fell in love with the world of swing and was trained by Andy Spitz, one of the world's leading swing dancers.

After 4 years of intensive training, she is now co-director of the "Easy swing" school in Belgium, where she teaches Solo Jazz, Solo Blues and lindy hop. Her swing is dynamic and spontaneous. What she particularly enjoys is incorporating all the influences she has picked up in her training and various encounters. Because dance is all about sharing and meeting people.
