Jessica Rabote

I'm a Franco-Italian drag artist, performer, playwright, director and assistant director. I arrived in Brussels in 2015 where I frequented the dance, theatre and performance scene. A few years later, the artists and performers Lylybeth Merle, King Baxter and Rose Gigot joined me in creating my alter ego Jessica Rabote. Today I perform on Brussels' alternative and queer scenes, I create performative forms combining theatre and dance in theatres, I programme films for the Brussels Porn Film Festival, I accompany Blanket la Goulue in the creation of her stand-up, I follow the company Venedig Meer in its creations, and I perform with the European collective Body Politic between Italy, Catalonia, France and Belgium.
