Odile Santi has been drawing for a long time. After studying at the Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg, she decided to become a children's illustrator and has since published among others at Editions courtes et longues : Les yeux verts (2017), Neigeline (2018), Tétrodon (out April 2019)
She loves traveling, and has the opportunity to go to India, a country she loves and to which she regularly returns, sketchbook in hand. She sketches from life in watercolor, ink and colored pencil.
She works as an illustrator for various institutions. She regularly exhibits her work.
The Mac de Sallaumines gave her the opportunity to hold a solo exhibition in February 2018 on the "travel" theme, she features in particular large-format full-length portraits of people of foreign origins who have placed their trust in her and whom she portrays in charcoal.
Furthermore, she shares her passion for drawing in her various courses (Douai Art School - Dechy Hospital), courses and events (in schools, media libraries, etc.).
