Andrès Surra

Andrès Surra, originaire d’Uruguay, se forme au tango dès la fin des années 1990, dans une grande période de renouveau en Europe. Outre Vincent Morelle et Marilyne Lefort, ses maestros sont Gustavo Naveira,
Marta Anton,
Carlos Perez et Rosa Forte, Sebastian
Arce et Mariana Montes Mariano Galeno et Paula Rubin,
ou encore El Pajaro et Mecha pour la milonga. Depuis 2004, il enseigne au Tango Bar dont il est l’organisateur à Bruxelles ainsi que dans de nombreux autres lieux en Europe. Il danse et co-chorégraphie plusieurs spectacles (Terra Tango, Tango vs Hip-Hop…)

Grand amateur d’improvisation, extrêmement rythmique, musical et inventif, Andrès a construit au fil des années une danse caractérisée par la complexité de ses pas, la plasticité des mouvements et la joie de danser ensemble.

Andrès Surra, native of Uruguay, is a trained dancer from the end of 1990s, during the times of a big tango revival in Europe. Besides Vincent Morelle and Marilyne Lefort, his maestros are Gustavo Naveira, Marta Anton, Carlos Perez and Rosa Forte, Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes, Mariano Galeno and Paula Rubin, or El Pajaro and Mecha for the milonga. Since 2004, he organizes the Tango Bar in Brussels where he teaches, among many more places in Europe. He danced and co-choreographed for several shows (Terra Tango, Tango vs Hip-hop)

A huge fan of improvisation, extremely rhythmic, musical and creative, over the years Andrès built a dance characterized by the complexity of its steps, the plasticity of the movement and the enjoyment to dance together.
