Carolien Thush

Born in Haaksbergen (Netherlands) in 1979, but living as an artist, entertainer and farmer in the Ardennes, Carolien Thush was drawn to textiles from an early age. It's her way of expressing herself. Carolien tries to work in a "closed cycle": she recovers wool from her sheep, colours with plant-based dyes, works with old, worn-out fabrics and recycled jars, cans and bottles. For Carolien, the key to our survival lies in sharing. Sharing with nature, but also sharing with other artists - young and old alike !
