In a society where people her age tend to turn to new technologies, 30-year-old artist Laura draws her inspiration from the past. The past of Man and the past of Photography. Passionate about old and alternative techniques, her world can be defined by constant experimentation, which she describes as exploration, and which sometimes gives way to happy accidents. Laura is interested in the relationship between the subject behind the photograph and the photograph itself. In a world where images evolve en masse, where so much visual data lost on hard drives becomes increasingly immaterial and ephemeral, her experiments turn towards the creation of tangible objects that move us.
