To me, music is a means of expressing the inexpressible, and it's with this in mind that I've been composing and playing music for 25 years, 1500 concerts, over 70 albums and several dance shows and short film scores. Today, nothing in music scares me anymore, and I'm more eager than ever for boundless adventure... it's this passion, this thirst for adventure, that I share in my lessons.

I teach jazz sax and improvisation (notably free improvisation) at the Zottegem academy, and regularly during the AKDT and Lundis d'Hortense summer courses.

Holder of master degrees in jazz sax and film composition, I've been concentrating a lot in recent years on developing my electronic modulation system, designed to manipulate acoustic sounds (including the sax) to extend their expressive capabilities, without losing their acoustic qualities and the musician's inflections.

Open to a variety of styles, I have played and recorded with Lionel Loueke (album la diversité on 'Edition records') , Jeff Ballard, Diederik Wissels, Pierre Van Dormael (Igloo), Alexi Tuomarila (albums on Warner music, Edition Records...), but also less jazz artists such as Viktor Lazlo (Billie Holiday project), Keziah Jones, Manu Di Bango...
