Tim Vermeulen

Tim dived into dance at 15 years, initially through folk dances, then with salsa, bachata and merengue, and then by discovering Argentinian tango. He studied various styles of Tango: Nuevo, Milonguero and Salón. He studied with Anibal Lautaro and with Yannick van Hove and improves constantly with great teachers, in particular Sebastian Achaval, Sebastian Jimenez, Demian Garcia and Sebastian Arce. Tim is also a geography, Dutch and tennis teacher. He is interested in diverse body disciplines, such as Yoga, the Alexander technique and the Feldenkrais method.

He taught tango at Sociedad Tango and at Tangueria before joining the team of Nosotros Tango Club 3 years ago. In its teaching, he focusses on the capacities to improvise, to relax and establish a beautiful connection between partners. His lessons are full of energy and ideas, of new movements and combinations. Tim is an elegant, fast and passionate dancer, who wants to share what he lives. He likes to dance in public and takes part in demonstrations in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Greece.
