Bedisteanu Aurel

Aurel Budisteanu - pseudonym of George Nae - is the nephew of Ionel Budisteanu and Ion Voicu, representative figures for Romanians. He began studying accordion at the age of 13, with a renowned Gypsy musician: Andréi Masloi. At 15, he began studying at the Bucharest School of Arts, performing at parties and weddings... He also worked with the best Romanian musicians: Toni Iordache, George Zamfir, Radu Simion, Ion Laceanu,... Aurel Budisteanu specializes in Balkan music, but can also teach many other styles (waltzes, tangos, etc.).

Romanian teacher. Often impressive in its virtuosity, Romanian folk music is based on a certain number of accents which translate into ornamentations. Aurel Budisteanu has developed an original, demanding but effective learning method, which once assimilated gives you the basic tools to interpret the various traditional rhythms of the Hora (4/4), Sirba (2/4) or Geampara (7/8).
