Description
In this course, through different workshops, we offer you the opportunity to work on all the things that are asked of a professional or non-professional musician, in order to integrate and integrate itself into a music group.
The course will consist in an approach and work around different styles of jazz (Latin, Funk, Fusion,...)
To do this, different points will be addressed such as:
- The bass/drums complicity - bass/drums - drums/drums - guitar/bass/drums,...
- Learning melodies and chord charts with emphasis on oral transmission.
- Work on voice/instrument independence (to be able to do backing vocals).
- Improvisation for everyone and writing sections for the prompters.
- In different forms we will also work on rhythm, the approach to asymmetrical measures, the playing and the role of “small” percussion (shaker, tambourine, etc.).
- The use, settings and choice of effects pedals.
In short, we will have fun addressing the different aspects necessary for the creation and development of a music group.
Required level
All levels are welcome.
