Description
Dive into the heart of bass in all its forms! This workshop is open to all types of instrumentalists, whether they play electric bass, double bass, sousaphone, tuba or baritone saxophone, etc....
Together, we'll explore the various roles of the bass in a band.
We'll start with accompaniment, working on the fundamentals: how to lay a solid rhythmic foundation and groove in perfect harmony with the other instruments. Then we'll broaden our horizons to tackle melodic bass: how to transform your instrument into an expressive voice capable of carrying a theme or enriching a composition. Finally, we'll delve into improvisation, discovering simple, effective tools for unleashing your creativity and interacting spontaneously with other musicians.
Through practical exercises, role-playing and group sessions, you'll learn to bring your instrument to life in all its dimensions. Come and enrich your playing in a dynamic and creative atmosphere.
