Before completing your registration, we invite you to read the following:
informations relatives aux ateliers de musique organisés lors de la première semaine.
Description
Through daily group and individual lessons, each participant has the opportunity to explore a wide repertoire related to the various instruments available for the workshop, refining their touch, styles, and historical practices.
Participants have the opportunity to work daily on several instruments from different periods and styles (Renaissance virginal, 17th- and 18th-century single- and double-manual harpsichords, and a clavichord).
The workshop can also be an opportunity to discover or deepen the practice of basso continuo (related or independent to the early chamber music workshop).
A workshop on instrument tuning and maintenance is also available.
Level
From age 10 and up.
The course is open to everyone: from children to adults, from beginners to experienced harpsichordists, as well as organists and pianists wishing to learn the touch and style of the harpsichord and early music. Harpsichordists of all levels are welcome; for other musicians, a minimum of 4 years of experience is required.
