Description

Playing with and exploring the voice's many sonic possibilities and understanding how it works:

  • Develop vocal timbre modulation and use it to express emotion and enhance song interpretation.
  • Understand vocal anatomy through sensory exploration of the voice and body, using a detailed approach inspired by the Feldenkrais Method.
  • Explore vocal mechanisms in their entirety.
  • Learn how the respiratory, phonatory, and resonant systems of the voice work together with the rest of the body.
  • Coordinate different vocal registers (head voice, chest voice, etc.) and develop mixed voice to achieve a homogeneous voice across the entire range.
  • Train your larynx to produce different sounds: discover twang (bright voice), belting (powerful voice), and a variety of vocal intonations found in pop music, blues, jazz, world music…
  • Explore body support techniques for a free and sustained voice without vocal fatigue.

Level
