Description
The Artist's Book and Colours: Creation and Experimentation
The artist's book, much more than a simple reading medium, is a work in its own right, a fusion of idea, form and content. A true testing ground for the artist, it allows the boundaries of the tradition of the book as an object to be pushed back. Through it, the artist questions printing techniques, materials, sequences and the very nature of the page. The artist's book often departs from the classic structure, becoming a unique object that deconstructs the expectations associated with conventional reading.
In this context, colour proves to be an essential element, an expressive force, but also a tool for reflection. Far from being a simple decorative ornament, colour here becomes a dimension in its own right. It is sometimes conceived as a common thread, a visual code that guides the reader in their exploration, or as a dynamic interplay between content and container.
Whether you are an artist, designer, or simply passionate about the art of bookmaking, this workshop is an opportunity to explore the richness of this medium, bringing together form, colour and content in a personal, original work.
