In the first half of the 15th century, a “new” oil painting was born in Flanders, attributed to the Van Eyck brothers, painters and alchemists. Their technique is based on the alternation and different properties of fatty layers and lean layers. By submitting to the products imposed on him, the painter loses his pleasure in painting and distorts his spiritual creation.
