The artistic approach of Océane Vallot (°1985, lives and works in Brussels) is entirely focused on the apprehension of reality. Through a careful examination of the elements that make up her environment, combined with diverse modes of production and reproduction that she uses as tools to bring her subjects to life, the artist works passionately to create an exploratory narrative that, while resolutely contemporary, claims many filiations with the history of art, and more particularly, with the history of drawing.
