Description

The course is an opportunity to discover and explore the many facets of storytelling. The art of storytelling, as practiced by professional storytellers, will be explored.

The "material" from which we can draw to nourish the art of storytelling will be anecdotes from life, stories from the past or contemporary, imaginary or real, traditional tales.

The idea is to find sources of inspiration, which may be stories we have heard or texts we have read, and share them in our own words.

The aim is to make a story our own, so that it truly becomes part of us. We will also work on stories from our own imaginations.

The challenge: to be exciting when you tell your story!

Initially, we will focus on finding our authenticity, in front of others' eyes. We will learn how to manage the many sensations that can arise, and which sometimes translate into stress and stage fright.

We will seek to acquire greater knowledge of what characterizes us: see how our body expresses itself, what our gesture habits are…

And, from there, we will be able to develop more ease, more freedom, more creativity.

We will also see how our voice can become a powerful instrument for translating all the nuances of what we want to express.

We will also have fun with our imagination. We will put our creativity in motion to build our own stories.

Together, we will take it one step at a time, respecting each other's pace.

The idea is to develop one's own abilities in the art of storytelling, no matter the experience in speaking in front of an audience.

Everyone is welcome, whether you are uncomfortable with expression, shy, or, on the contrary, have a certain mastery (you can be a professional actor).
