Description

Trainees will learn or improve the techniques of clay turning and modeling. They will discover the possibilities offered by the use of colored slips and glazes. The firmed shapes will be coated on “raw” with a slip or enamel loaded with colorings or oxides and will be fired in single firing in a gas or electric oven at a temperature of 1260°.

Equipment required

The trainees will bring the usual small equipment of ceramists: esteks, tourniquets, cutting peepers, roughing boards, twisted wire, compasses, fine sponge, flat brushes, glass jars, notebook, as well as a paint remover and a multiple power outlet.
