Description

The emphasis of this course is on the quality of the relationship between the masseur and the person being massaged.

4 axes are proposed:

  1. The body
  2. Touch
  3. Massage
  4. Presence

The body

Through various bodily discoveries, we will refine our sense of our own body:

  • Finding our inner security through our pelvis
  • Feel our depth and our verticality
  • Moving to play with our mobility from which massage movements will emerge
  • Listening to and welcoming our possibilities, limits and emotions.

Touch

Through games, exercises and theory, approach the world of touch:

  • Become aware of our relationship with the touch we receive and give.
  • Discover haptonomic touch
  • Search together for the "golden rules" of touch
  • Experience the sensation of being connected to others

Massage

Using different approaches (visual, auditory and kinesthetic), learn the basic techniques of Belgian sensory massage:

  • Discover the installation movements and massage of different parts of the body
  • Memorize this learning
  • Perform all these movements one after the other to be able to massage a complete body at the end of the course
  • Taste the pleasure of massaging and/or being massaged

Presence

In silence, experience special moments to refocus:

  • Promote presence to oneself, to others, to what is
  • Take a moment of silence at the beginning and end of the day to live in the moment
  • Share and express our feelings within the group
