Description
Pictorial and graphic research course, based on experimentation.
Four axes:
- The object and anything that would be smaller than us or tiny.
- The male/female model, it is our size that can be transformed.
- The landscape environment, open or closed, microscopic or infinitely distant.
- The inner self, intimate introspection.
These different proposals orchestrate the course but leave a lot of creative freedom to everyone.
The idea is to circulate pictorially in various formats and supports.
A selective end-of-course exhibition will be offered.
Examples of contemporary artists flesh out the debate: Auerbach, Saville, Kirkeby, Barcelo, Soulié...
A guest from outside the course will be there on the last day.
Required level
From the age of 18, a little practice is a plus for adults.
Equipment required
Notebooks, practical outdoor equipment, oils or acrylics, stapler or pliers, lots of varied supports, small panels, canvases and fabrics, personal music, a book on a contemporary painter to share.
