Description
The course will explore three axes.
The first is the anecdotal line of a scene: everything that is linked to the progress of the story, to bodily actions, to the physical manifestations of conflicts, to the behavior of the characters.
The second line, sensory, links action to the functioning of the five senses.
Finally, the emotional line connects the action and senses to the character's emotion.
The objective is to create dialogue between these three components.
There cannot be any “blanks”, any interruption of play in each of these lines.
It should be noted that this course is an additional tool for those preparing for entrance exams in drama in major theater schools (conservatories, IAD or INSAS)
Process
Actor training on goals, conflicts, action, sensory and emotional memory.
Alternating with the application of these training sessions in film or theater scenes (one scene serves two people).
In order to optimize your course as much as possible, I propose a meeting towards the end of June, during which you can choose your scene and your partner.
You will be able to make your own suggestions. If you have no idea or have not found a scene you like, I will bring enough suggestions to the meeting to satisfy everyone.
If you cannot make it to the meeting, it is not a big problem - you will be served just like the others (the Internet will assist us).
For actor training, you will need to bring along a text, poem, letter... which particularly raises your awareness, and that you know by heart. This text should not exceed one page...
Required level
The workshop is reserved for people with previous theatre experience (amateurs, professionals, drama students).
Exceptionally, we can accept a person with no experience (provided they are highly motivated and enthusiastic) after a short discussion, which can take place by telephone.
Equipment required
A flexible outfit that keeps the actor's mobility intact.
