Description
This course is oriented towards research in general:
The transformation of textiles (cotton, wool, silk) through color or volume.
Color and graphics through dyeing; texture and volume through various assemblages.
Various ancient dyeing techniques will be presented (reserves, starches, pleats, knots, ligatures, wax, stencils, indigo, mordants).
Plant prints by hammering or in vats (ecoprint).
Participants will have the opportunity to create simple garments using dyed textiles.
Volume will be approached via different mediums, hardening by different glues or crochet and knot techniques among others.

No prerequisites - Depending on your textile affinities
Equipment required
- White or off-white, fine, natural textiles (cotton, linen, silk, wool) in sufficient quantity, according to your desires.
- White garments in natural textiles, ready to be harmoniously dyed.
- Small sewing equipment, fine thread and cord, string and cotton or crochet wool, pins, needles, good sewing scissors.
- Eventually" sewing machine
- Wire, wire cutters, box cutters, various cardboard boxes and strong glue (contact ).
- And anything inspiring or to share (books, recipes, etc.)
