Description

The artist's book allows us to exploit the form of the book in the broadest sense of the term. He uses the language of the visual arts and allows you to personally create your book from start to finish; from the content to the container.

Firstly, we will discover the different facets of the “artist’s book”. Its origin, its development, the elements which make it a discipline in its own right.

This course offers you the discovery of the book as a landscape or an anatomy.

How to create a dialogue between the inside and the outside of the book. How to articulate notions such as shape, color, writing, concept, articulation of “pages”.

The course will allow you to experiment with different basic models.

These models can be developed according to your practice; photographs, engravings, drawings, paintings, calligraphies, and your creativity.

The world of artist books is vast and allows for many forms and developments. The internship will be a place for research and experimentation of your projects.
