Description

Play, juggle the multiple sound possibilities of the voice and understand how it works.

  • Develop the modulation of vocal timbre and put it at the service of emotion and the interpretation of songs
  • Understanding the anatomy of the voice through sensory exploration of the voice with the body, through a detailed approach inspired by the Feldenkrais method
  • Take an interest in vocal mechanisms in their entirety. Understand how the respiratory, phonatory and resonant systems of the voice agree with the whole body
  • Coordinate the different vocal registers (head voice, chest voice, etc.), develop the mixed voice to find a homogeneous voice across the entire range.
  • Train the larynx to produce different sounds: discover the twang (bright voice), the “belting” (powerful voice) and a variety of vocal intonations found in pop music, blues, jazz, songs of the world …
  • Seek bodily support for a free and sustained voice without vocal fatigue.

A repertoire of polyphonic songs will serve as support for vocal explorations

This collective course combining pleasure and technique will be carried out in a caring manner.
