Description
Introduction to comics focusing on adult and contemporary comics.
In recent years, we have witnessed a real explosion of comics in all its forms, ranging from simple entertainment to graphic novels, or even autobiographical novels as much influenced by art as popular culture. This workshop will allow older children to better understand the stages of constructing a comic book story, going from the scenario to the narration, how to find an idea and cut it into boxes via the storyboard and then put it into shape, by carrying out the sketching, inking and coloring by computer. Finally, the course will end with the printing of the stories in newspaper or fanzine form (the format and formatting will be defined according to the participants).
This workshop will be supervised by Jürg, a professional in the field for over twenty years, published numerous times in Belgium and abroad in various publishing houses, whose wise advice will provide answers to your questions and a most comprehensive initiation.
