Description

This course is imagined as an invitation to explore plastically what connects us to nature, to play dialogues between human and non-human. By working with matter, we will examine "the fragile skin of the world" (ref. Jean-Luc Nancy), its porosities, its coats, faults and roughness.

With our body as a standard meter, we will imagine sculptural forms that tell our animal, plant and mineral side by drawing inspiration from the surrounding nature.

This course is oriented towards textiles and flexible materials. Through a series of experiments, it will be a question of making matter speak, of exploring it to reveal its full potential and of using it as a means of expression. There will be hybridization, metamorphosis.

From drawing to volume, different paths and exercises will be proposed the first days from which each will gradually deploy a universe of their own.

There will be experimentation in all directions, discussions around artistic references, walks in the woods.
