Description
A secret garden? A flying caravan? A school of ...? Your children can let their imagination run wild by creating a miniature world with recycled materials. For a week, we will build in groups 'Sourisville', a fantastic (and better!) miniature world based among other things on the books of Karina Schaapman.
The children will choose to create a 'place' where they (and our little characters) feel good (for example a garden, a castle, a cinema, a rock stage etc.) We will start in 2D with our first ideas and drawings, but it will evolve very naturally into 3D. We will work every day on a different part of our creation with a different material (for example paper/cardboard, plasticine/papier maché, textile).
At the end of the workshop, we will prepare our opening of 'Sourisville' with invitations, speeches, etc.
Equipment required
All materials are provided, but trainees are invited to bring an apron, a case with scissors, felt-tip pens, colored pencils and a box with small treasures (e.g. a small photo, scraps of fabric, ribbons, small objects, buttons, beads, etc.).
