Description
This course is a tribute to Professor Maria Knebel, Stanislavski's last assistant and a pupil of Michael Chekhov.
It was she who passed on to Boris Rabey the knowledge received from her teachers. As a result, this course combines the main elements of two founding methods of the Russian school of theater.
The course is aimed at future drama school students, as well as professional and amateur actors. It will be useful to all those who want to feel free and happy during rehearsals and performances.
Every day we will work on one of the six basic elements of the Russian school such as freedom, imagination, action, event, given circumstances and conflicts. We will experience how they contribute to our true existence on stage, to the development of our personal and professional abilities and skills.
The method presented was developed by Boris Rabey and is based on over 30 years' experience.
