Description
To work on the voice is to work on relationships: undoubtedly our relationship with ourselves, but also our relationship with others and our relationship with space.
What our voice depends on: these relationships but also our intentions, the intentions of the characters.
We will seek to develop our vocal potential by freeing it of all its clutter: locks, muscular tensions, habits.
In working with the text, we'll give priority to the emergence of things: how our breathing - I'm talking here about silences and suspended moments - how the work of support and impulse can naturally nourish our imagination, can clarify our intentions. Giving meaning to a text by taking another, more organic and sensitive route.
Required level
The course is aimed at young actors, students applying to drama schools, academy teachers and anyone wishing to discover their voice through working with text.
